how did manny die in swiss army man

Manny, played by Daniel Radcliffe in the 2016 film “Swiss Army Man”, is a dead body that the main character Hank, played by Paul Dano, befriends while Hank is stranded on a deserted island.

Throughout the film, Manny’s decomposition is shown in various stages. Eventually, his condition worsens and Manny’s body starts to fall apart.

Manny’s eventual fate is not a direct death as he was already deceased, however he does finally succumb to the reality of his situation as his body further decomposes.
